The project replaced an older bungalow on the site with a stone built modern fully equipped dormer bungalow which had to be sympathetic to the village. The main criteria of the design was very easy access to all parts of the house and into the garden areas. The layout made the most of the site with a lift to first floor level containing a study area and therapy room with disabled accessible balcony. At ground floor level the open plan lounge has bifold doors into a sunroom area overlooking a level patio and the garden areas.
